The NEW HTC EVO 2 !! - Coming December 2011

By

The new HTC Evo 2 will be loaded with some pretty amazing new features. It may even be 3D!! Currently, the HTC Evo has HD Vision, Wi-Fi, Live broad casting, dual cameras with front facing, 8g storage card and capacitive multi touch screen.

The newer model is speculated to come with:

• 32g of built in storage with expandable card slot for up to 64g
• Qualcomm 2.5GHz processor, face recognition security software
• 10 megapixel camera, customizable ring tones for specific email addresses and text messages • Web browser that plays flash media
• Wireless iTunes sync capability

You will also be able to sync your wireless network and seamlessly print from your phone if the printer is connected to a wireless network, play music with air play and show photos and videos on your TV by streaming it.

We are not sure which network will debut the HTC Evo 2. With the recent merger of AT&T and T-Mobile, it is a tough call between AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Sprint currently holds the cake for the HTC Evo, but word is HTC would like a larger market and wants to go with a larger carrier.

Now that ATT has merged with T-Mobile, the HTC Evo 2 can be used on t-mobile's 4g network! ATT wil inherit this much needed upgrade. Currently, Sprint is operating the HTC Evo on their 3g and 4g network, with much success, but we are unsure if they will be the likely carrier for the new HTC Evo. Should the new Evo 2 stay with the well priced Sprint? Or should it debut on a larger carrier?

I have the original Hero by HTC, but I've thought about upgrading for sure. I'm just waiting for the next best thing to emerge, because as soon as I bought it all of a sudden it was out dated by the Droid-X & Evo. I was really upset by that so I'm just patient to see what these engineers crank out next, besides the same stuff we keep seeing being sold to us.

Don't get me wrong this technology is definitely far better then the old cell phones that only could store contacts and somewhat display mobile site capabilities. The "Logme-in" droid version application, blew me away when I found the application for my Hero, now that was some powerful stuff. Remote computing access from a cell phone, & on screen computer controls is phenomenal.

Tech,

I just purchased the HTC Merge for both my wife and myself. This is very helpful information that you shared. The 10 megapixel camera is fascinating - as a novice - will I need a regular camera ever again?

Sprint owns the EVO name. It's like Verizon owns the Droid name. So the phone will come to all carriers. Like the Thunderbolt and Atrix.

What i know is you must buy a phone that will provide you with your needs and for so many people out there is hard to get one and is getting even worse with the 4G/LTE since you will need a better battery life on this devices.
