The iPhone is coming to T-Mobile!
Lot's of speculation going around since the announcement of the iPhone being released on Verizon Wireless. Well, it is official... the iPhone will be coming to T-Mobile mid to late 2012. There is a rough estimate of the iPhone release to TMobile of June or November.
The iPhone will thrive on the T-mobile network, along with the excellent customer service that T-Mobile provides, but the big question is... will T-Mobile impose many of the the same restrictions as AT&T did once they debut the phone? Most applications run on 3g/4g networks, but some of the larger applications like Skype, Sling Player and Google Voice can only be ran on WiFi netwoks. Will T-Mobile allow these apps to run on their regular data networks? We hope so.
Right now, you can unlock an iPhone and run it on the T-Mobile network. However, you can not complete regular updates with iTunes. This will correct that problem and allow for full access just like AT&T.
The iPhone will have all the same features including the new 8 megapixel camera, HD Video recording and editing, Multi Tasking, Retna display, and Facetime!

- Standby time: Up to 300 hours
- Internet use:Up to 6 hours on 3GUp to 10 hours on Wi-Fi
- Video playback: Up to 10 hours
- Audio playback: Up to 40 hours

The new iPhone will have features like iCloud, iMessage, and 8 megapixel camera, HD recording, wireless printing and wireless sharing on your TV.
The big question again is rather or not you will be free to use all the apps and features as you would like. T-Mobile will also be lowering the price of the iPhone to beat the competition. Since it is releasing on multiple networks, you will be able to get a new iPhone 3GS for as little as 50$ and an iPhone 4 amd 5 for around 100-150$.

I hope this phone will meet the customers satisfaction. I've been with T-Mobile for 4 yrs and sometimes I wonder why, so I hope the iPhone will give me that answer Ive been looking for and make it affordable for old customers too NO EXTRA CHARGES!!!!

I have try it all android crap started with my touch 3g then switch to my touch 4g and the samsung galaxy same shit but bigger lol... I am an Iphone lover had 2g, 3g, 3gs unlocked for tmobile. Cant wait for tmobile to get the iphone
This Makes NO Sense- I meann, T-Mobile Is Closing in About A Year. Would Youe Be Able To Use It On The AT&T NetWork? That Would Seem Sensible. The Prices Are Totally Reasonable.

Turns out this was true! Tmobile and AT&T are merging so the iPhone will be available now to tmobile customers!
I have been with t mobile for several years and it only makes sense that they start giving better quality phones. I was about to cancel my contract today and go to at&t but after reading this i will wait and see>i hope i dont regret my decision
yess T-Mobile should def lower the price of the phone, however it is a good phone but t-mobile will have a better chance in getting more customers if the price will be lowered.

Ohemmgee! That would be sooooo Ah-mazing if they could get the Iphone! I've had t-mobile like forever and I haven't had much luck...idk why I've even stayed. But with the iphone I will hopefully be able to literally love my phone and I'm super excited about the iphone 5! Like who wouldn't be?? Oh and purrtty purrtty please lower the prices, because they could get people running to t-mobile. :)
iPhones have always been able to be used with T-Mobile when you unlock them. The issue has always been that the iPhones uses GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)& T-Mobile uses 1700 MHz/2100 MHz for their 3G/4G data. Meaning, the iPhone can only use the EDGE network with T-Mobile. Which is basically as fast as dial-up. Almost pointless to use.
The news T-Mobile users who want an iPhone want to hear is that the new iPhone will use T-Mobiles 1700 MHz/2100 MHz OR that with AT&T & T-Mobile merging, they will be switching all their data frequencies to match that of the iPhone IE: What AT&T currently uses.

I have been with tmobile for 5 years and although I must say the customer service is great ........the phones not so much I really want an iphone but I don't wanna go to a different network as far as the price LOWER LOWER LOWER I don't think its fair that new customers get the free phones and super discounted phones and the customers that been with the company longer ....if we want a new phone before the 2year mark we have to pay full price I really don't think that's fair at all

My first cell phone was a Sony Ericksson, from Omnipoint, been a customer even after the merge with Voice Stream, and yes even though Tmobile has great customer services, its policy towards the already customers is very poor. I left tmobile(not for long, it was just to prove a point), because I wanted the blackberry pearl for free like what they where offering new customer, but no, they lower it from $150 to 100, not bad, but not as good as free. I told them I was leaving, they said "please shut the door on your way out". They didn't care, or at least that was my impression, how sad. I came back as a new customer and got the HTC My Touch, for free just after 8 weeks of been in their store, shame on you Tmobile. Tmobile can learn a thing or two from Sprint, who will go even as far as to rent their company to apple, so their "OLD" customers don't leave.

Dear T-Mobile: Hope this is true now that AT&T withdrew its offer for you. Better get iPhone soon or people will leave in droves. I can tell you that if you don't get iPhone by December 20111 I'm canceling my T-Mobile contract and taking the $200 hit to get the iPhone. -Very dissatisfied t-Mobile customer
I am with the comment above, if T mobile chooses to not include the iPhone, I will gladly take the $250 fee. I would really like a freakin iPhone, and i agree with another comment above; no more garbage android devices! Even though some are good, i prefer the iPhone.
I am so fed up with T Mobile not having the Iphone. My black berry was acting up recently so I called up Tmoile to try to do an upgrade. However I kept having a hard time trying to trouble shoot my phone so I ended up being transferred to the loyalty department which supposedly is the highest department. She asked me what kind of phone I was looking for and I laughed and told her the Iphone but they dont carry it. She told me that they will be getting the Iphone 5 in June...Here's hoping she want bullshitting me. She actually told me to try holding off from using my full upgrade for a lil while so I would be able to use it. I hope I'm not hoping and waiting in vain!

I used to work for tmobile and in the loyalty dept, which is the higest level of customer service you can possibly get to for promotions and lower prices. For all u who want the iphone, go just cancel your service and get it or get unlocked and continue paying less monthly. Dont call in to bitch about tmobile not having the iphone, the reps cant help it, escalating to a supervisor will not help either, they have the same tools the reps do and no more authority to credit you more. Sidenote: get a life pay your bill on time, you wont get fees just like the real eorld tmobile isnt any different than your electric company, they need their money too.. it is a business and they need to run it. You leaving tmobile because "its not fair, ive been a customer for "x" amount of years" who cares,thats your choice. Didnt your parents remind you life isnt fair when you were younger, things havent changed. Get over your ego, have more respect for those on the phone because alot of you sure get bold on the phone, remember customer srvice reps have ALL your personal info. Be nice and you will get more. Rant over.
I just got off the phone with Tmobile and the rep said that they were scheduled to get the Iphone in Nov. 2012 but due to high demand they should now be getting it in June or August. I hope this is true! because 2 out of my 3 lines are without contract and I refuse to upgrade my plan or service because I don't want to get locked into a new contract. If Tmobile get the Iphone 5 this will definitely keep them as a customer (it'll only make sense). I am ready and eager to get the phone and if that means taking my 2 lines and running for the border then so be it.... I am trying hard to hold on to my blackberry...while I love it, they aren't doing anything NEW that is making me want to stay... I love my BBM but I"m over it...I can do without it... Tmobile it is a great business move...you will keep and gain customers....just move it up to the spring... PLEASE!

I sure hope they get the new iPhone,I have 3 lines and 2 of my lines have had nothing but problems with android phones and the BB I have had to replace the phones 3 times in 2 months they give a completely different phone and again replaced again 3 times this is my 4th phone and it doesn't work. I was ready to change to the iPhone this weekend because of the issues I might wait now

I am so excited. I have the IPhone 3 and use it now on my tmobile network and it sucks!!!! I cannot wait to have a IPhone and really get to use it like I'm suppose too. I am so thrilled, first in line!!!
I really hope T-Mobile gets it. I've had my doubts because every other link says something different. I am fed with my with Android (I have a MyTouch4G) and it has been nothing but trouble since day one. Actually, I am on my 3rd one. I have been strongly considering leaving Tmobile but if they get the iPhone I will stay because they do have the most affordable data plan.

I am a tmobile customer and I love the service and flexible plans. I hope the arrival of the iphone does not change that. The pricing for the iphone 4 and 5 is very resonable.
Well, I have been with T-Mobile for over 9 years now. Customer service is gr8 phones are ok! It's about time for a switch as I pay about $185 per month for 2 androids and one basic phone for my family. I can get 2 iphones and one nice droid for $150 a month with AT&T - so....bout that time :)
